About Muskoka

Faith Baptist Church is proud to be part of the Muskoka community.  As a church, we have a passion of reaching the people of this beautiful region of Canada with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Here’s a little bit of information about

Muskoka, located only two hours north of Ontario’s capital city of Toronto, is a popular vacation destination.  Muskoka’s geography is defined by small lakes and hills, outcroppings of igneous rocks, and evergreen forests.  With it’s many communities and first class resorts and tourist attractions, Muskoka offers much of “the best” of city life while still allowing it’s full-time and seasonal residents the benefits of life in a smaller setting.

There are six area municipalities making up the region of Muskoka:

• Town of Bracebridge
• Town of Gravenhurst
• Town of Huntsville
• Township of Muskoka Lakes
• Township of Georgian Bay
• Township of Lake of Bays
